Started my interest in djn in the late 80's playing house parties with just a dual cassette player, cd, home stereo turntable and a 4ch Radio Shack mixer. Officially began crafting my dj skills and turntablist skills on the decks in 94, when I purchased my first set of turntables and battle style mixer. Did many mobile gigs and a few club appearances throughout. In late 99 joined a "rapcore" band called 'Severance' which won a battle of the bands competition in 2000 put on by MTV's TRL for a big cash prize and a deal with Epic/Sony records. In 2003 recieved a Sacramento Area Music Award for critics choice best dj/turntablist. Still making a few club appearances in the Sacramento area. For the love of the music and the craft of the dj and turntablist art.

DJ WHORES [SAC] - Grimey | Bad Looks
Raving since 95 and DJ'n since 98. DJ Whores aka Daniel Osterhoff is a Northern California native, born and raised in the East Bay Area and transplanted to the Foothills / Sacramento area in the early 90s. A Sacramento 916 Junglist since day one and ex-resident of Portland's early Crush Drum & Bass circa 2000. 3 time winner of the Sacramento Area Music Award for "Best Dance DJ" (2009-11). Currently he has a future bass music project; BAD LOOKS with friend and local Sacramento producer Waylonn with remixes and originals releasing later this year on Brap Dem, Trouble & Bass and Hot n Heavy.

Daniel is also the main man behind the extremely popular bi-monthly Sacramento dance night called "Grimey". In the last couple years he has brought out and played alongside world talents like: Lazer Sword, Samo Sound Boy, Bird Peterson, Curtis Vodka, Noah D, Salva, Eprom, Distal, Freq Nasty, SPL, Mimosa, Star Eyes, Thee Mike B, Ninjasonik, Sticky K, Nasty Nasty, Canblaster, Chrissy Murderbot, Krystal Klear, Lefto & Simbad, Deathface, XI, Matty G, DJG, DBridge, Truth, 6Blocc, Africa Hitech, & Krampfhaft just to name a few.

DJ Whores is a multi faceted DJ of sorts, coming from a traditional DJ background of two Technic turntables, he plays and entertains crowds whether its a mix of hip-hop, r&b, funk, indie, dubstep, rap, electro, grime, glitch, house, footwork, tropical, UK funky or garage, hes always pushing something new with a little bit of the old you love. Familiar or unfamiliar, he knows how to keep you moving on the dance floor..

  James Fuhring has been involved with music since the early 90's, although you'd never guess it by his current output. His humble beginnings started as the bass player and/or drummer for such legendary punk bands as Mohinder and Jenny Piccolo. The latter, would be responsible for him accidentally hearing the sound of Drum & Bass while in Berlin on a European tour. By 1999, he sold most of his gear to be replaced by turntables, mixer and a sampler. Not knowing anyone involved in the Drum & Bass scene, James contacted local UC Santa Cruz radio dj and Argon records label don Nman (Nick Manousos) about giving him some bedroom mixtapes he had made. James was invited down to the radio station where he would meet future Red Army members Justin Boreta (of Glitch Mob fame) and Joaquin Ortiz. From that point on, Red Army would start a career that would see them released by such labels as Argon, Skunkrock, Breakbeat Science, Phuturo, and N2O. As of 2006, due to geographical location and/or lack of interest, Red Army would stand at one member, but would more than double the music output as a one man army. Since then, he has released a single and EP on Simplify Recordings, a split single and EP for Onset Recordings, a song on Hot N Heavy Recording's latest compilation, 'Bay Area Bass Vol. 3' and his debut LP also for Onset Recordings entitled Dilaudid.

  ZEPHYR [PLA] - Element of Soul
  Seth " Zephyr" Ahern, a Dubstep/DnB/HipHop Dj, was inspired by the early 90's rave scene. His hiphop roots & new discovery of Drum & Bass lead him to two turntables & a mixer. In 2009, he joined Element of Soul, an acoustic reggae/hiphop band, providing electronic beats, scratching & sound effects. Bringing electronic music to the hills, DJ Zephyr has opened for Anahata Sound, Destructo Bunny, Apaullo 8 & local Sac talent like Tribe of Levi & Digit. He has held down residence DJ duties @ Pj's, a local bar, doing Friday Top 40 nights. In the recent year, Zephyr has taken up production with his first remix of an Element of Soul original and many more to come! He is currently hosting a Bi-Weekly internet radio show on Sundays, "The Dinner Time Grime from 7 to 9" on v103.Net.
